Wednesday will be a surf day…well at least if you are already in position for the bigger SW swell (for the weekend)…if you aren’t then get on the road!
On Wednesday we will see a mix of SW swell, some building local NW windswell, and some new long-period SW swell that starts showing late in the afternoon.
Most spots will continue to see waist-chest high surf.
Standout breaks, mostly the great Pacific Side combo spots, will have some chest-shoulder high+ sets sneaking through.
Shape will be ok…particularly for the morning…but it will be a bit inconsistent and have some wind problems by the afternoon as stronger NW flow moves down the coast.
Breaks around Cabo will be cleaner with winds out of the N-NW around 10 knots.
Look for more SW swell later this week…hitting more on Thursday and eventually peaking Friday before fading on Saturday.
